The following letter went out from Shannon, the interim President regarding the Jets this season. The response has been INCREDIBLE! So many have stepped up already and we hope you will too!

 

Dear Jets family and friends,

I am writing to you all to let you know the Jets are in critical need of new board members to fill a variety of roles, top to bottom, if we are going to have a season this year and beyond. The pandemic hit everyone very hard, and the Jets are no exception. Members have had to move, job responsibilities or family health issues have changed their availability, even just recently! The Jets is a historic program serving our 2nd- 8th grade youth for many years and it will be so sad for it to stop due to a lack of volunteers. Everything is in place to have a great season except YOU! What we need is the time and energy of new board members to take the Jets forward into the 2021 season and the future. No experience is necessary, there are roles that fit everyone. There will be plenty of support behind you as well to show you the way. As an added perk, board members’ children get free enrollment too!

PLEASE consider giving of your time and energy to help the Jets have a COMEBACK season in 2021!
